Lace up, grab a costume, and get ready for one of Meyers’ most fun community traditions. Registration is now open for the tenth annual OMG Fun Run, happening Sunday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Old Meyers Grade.
Whether you’re racing to the top or strolling in style, this scenic 2.6-mile out-and-back course—located just 0.1 miles up South Upper Truckee Road—offers something for everyone. The event will be held rain or shine.
For a few unforgettable hours, Old Meyers Grade transforms into a lively, high-energy celebration filled with leopards, butterflies, world-class athletes, and plenty of Tahoe-style fun. Costumes are highly encouraged, with prizes awarded for the best in each division (child, woman, and man). Competitive participants can also go for glory with awards for “1st to Reach the Top” and “Most Laps” in each division. Anyone who completes three or more laps—and all division winners—will earn a spot on the event website.
Registration is open through 5 p.m. on June 6 at https://www.meyerscommunityfoundation.org/omg-fun-run. Early registration is $20 for adults and $10 for children (12 and under) and includes a free OMG t-shirt. Kids under 5 participate for free (no t-shirt). Day-of registration will be available from 8:30–9:30 a.m. for $25 for adults and $15 for children.
